St Bride Foundation is the home of print and type design on Fleet Street, caring for an internationally significant collection celebrating the history of print, graphic design and typography. They exist to tell the story of print, providing creative inspiration to the communities of designers, printers, students and the public who bring life to their building and collections.

Wood Engraving (Relief Print) Taster Day
Tuesday 14 May, 11am – 5pm
Price: £108–120 each

Join for an introduction to wood engraving. Working from your own designs, prepare, cut and print a small limited edition of woodblock engravings. Be introduced to the materials, tools and processes, with reference throughout the day to historic and contemporary wood engraving.

Letterpress Poster Printing Workshop

Get your hands inky printing letterpress posters in St Bride Foundation’s atmospheric print workshop. They have a treasury of historic presses and beautiful wood type dating back to the 19th century for you to create your bespoke poster.
