County Hall Pottery presents its inaugural exhibition, launching its new gallery space. ‘Beyond the Kiln’ brings together a group of London-based contemporary artists working with ceramics. All share an interest in the materiality, history and language of ceramics while exploring diverse subject matter including personal narratives, the built environment, social and political issues and nature.

About

Launching this May 2024! County Hall Pottery is a brand new pottery and ceramics gallery and studio in the heart of London. Based in the historic County Hall building by Westminster Bridge, they will be showcasing the very best in contemporary ceramic design via curated exhibitions and offering a range of pottery and ceramics classes.

Their inaugural exhibition, ‘Beyond the Kiln’, will launch their gallery space as part of London Craft Week from the 13 – 19 May 2024.

‘Beyond the Kiln’ brings together a group of contemporary, London-based artists working with ceramics. All share an interest in the materiality, history, and the language of ceramics, and explore diverse subject matter including personal narratives, the built environment, social and political issues and nature.

The exhibition is free and open to all, and we are also excited to offer two opportunities to enjoy their work at two private events:

Private Viewing: Monday 13 May – 17.30 – 20.30

Mingle with fellow art enthusiasts, enjoy refreshments, and get a first look at these stunning works. Free to attend.

Private Dining with the Artists: Thursday 16 May – 18.30

Join us for an exclusive private dining experience amidst the stunning works. With food from the legendary chef, Daisuke Shimoyama, and hosted in the stunning courtyard. £40 per person.
