Deborah Brett established DB CERAMIC in 2022 following a 20-year career as a fashion journalist for The Times, Harper’s Bazaar, Red and Elle. Drawn to the balance between texture and colour in relation to form; Deborah works in porcelain, oxides, and stoneware, combining hand building, slab work and thrown pieces layered with her signature glazes and the chemical reactions these create. The combination of skills and materials ensure each piece is both practical and decorative – made to be loved and be used.
