Based across two locations in North and East London, Pophams Home celebrates handcrafted and slow-made items from makers across the UK. Part of independent bakery Pophams, the Home shop works closely with local ceramicists to develop exclusive ranges which can be enjoyed within the bakeries or purchased in-store.
Alongside exclusive Pophams pieces, you can find an eclectic range of ceramics, textiles, wood, metal and glassware designed to bring joy to users everyday. Each of the Pophams Home makers are chosen for their personal approach to design and keen eye for form, texture and function.
For London Craft Week, Pophams Home has invited seven of their makers — each working with different methods and mediums — to showcase a special range of one-off pieces. Each piece is displayed in Pophams Home’s Islington shop all week and is available to purchase.
Join Pophams Home from 4pm to 8pm on Thursday 16 May for an exclusive event including live demonstrations from some of the makers. The evening is filled with opportunities to learn more about different crafting methods such as woodwork, screenprinting and clay hand-building. You can also enjoy an array of delicious delicacies on offer from the bakery next door and a selection of wines to sample from the on-site bottle shop.
