Alexandra Duprez is an established contemporary artist living in Douarnenez in western Brittany. During a one-year stay in Australia at the age of seventeen, Alexandra discovered Aboriginal painting and so began to paint herself. On her return, she attended the École des Beaux-Arts in Quimper.
Alexandra dedicates herself exclusively to drawing and painting from the top of her house where her studio lies.
The artist is also represented by Galerie du Lendemain in Paris, Coa Gallery in Montréal, Pulp Gallery in Holyoke and Tayloe Piggott Gallery in USA. She has also collaborated with publishing houses including Chose Commune in France.
Alexandra Duprez will be a part of HANDS exhibition curated by Wondering People at 8 Holland Street from 13th- 19th May.
