David Ashton, based at Oxo Tower Wharf, creates jewellery designs that are elegantly modern, designed for life, and unmistakably David Ashton creations. Internationally recognised, his iconic ring stacks have been seen in Elle, Vogue, V&A, psychologies & the TATE to name a few.
Every piece is carefully designed and precision made by hand with the best materials to the very highest of standards. In his younger years, David trained as a scientific and medical instrument maker in Cambridge, then as an aircraft engineer, which provided him with a unique perspective on precision manufacturing which he then applied to jewellery making.
David uses his expertise in conjunction with pioneering new techniques, in particular combining various colours of 18ct gold, to create stunning rings, bracelets and necklaces – the results are bold, durable and comfortable pieces, made to be worn, all day, every day. The finest gemstones ensure superior brilliance, scintillation and beauty. No claws to catch on clothing. David Ashton rub-over settings are perfect, the stones are protected from dirt and damage, thus sparkle more for longer, and they are very secure. Stack perfectly against a wedding and eternity ring.
