Matthew Chambers began his career in 1993 as an assistant potter for Philip Wood in Somerset, UK. He followed this in with a degree in ceramics from Bath School of Art and an MA from the Royal College of Art, graduating in 2004. Since then Matthew has been working on the Isle of Wight, UK and his sculpture has been shown in many exhibitions worldwide. These include the Victoria and Albert Museum and Royal Academy of Arts in London, Homo Faber, Venice the Museum Westerwald, Germany, and the World Ceramic Centre, Korea. Matthew’s work is also held in many public and private collections worldwide with museums including The Fitzwilliam Museum in Cambridge, The National Museums Scotland, The Musee Ariana Geneva, The Sevres Museum Paris, and the Victoria and Albert Museum London.
