About
Peter Mears is a ceramic artist designer who trained in architecture at the University of Applied Arts Vienna. He explores the space in between isolation and connection, and the human desire to form a sense of space within buildings.
He explores porcelain with moulds in which he has used CNC machinery and sheets of MDF. This unique process of layering allows each piece to be individual in form. Inspired by musical instruments and the ways of playing differently each time.
Peter Mears will be a part of HANDS exhibition curated by Wondering People at 8 Holland Street from 13th- 19th May.
