It all began in Klagenfurt in 1868, when Josef RETTL founded the Kärntner k.u.k. Uniform Institute. Today, five generations later, the company has remained true to the strict quality criteria required by the military. However, the fashion line that Thomas RETTL creates today has become much more diverse and colourful.
RETTL caused an international sensation with his legendary kilt collection and the unique Ca-rinthian kilts, which are worn by many enthusiastic customers such as Franz Klammer, Armin Assinger and Thomas Morgenstern, as well as Sir Sean Connery and in the meantime even members of the British royal family.
Good clothing represents its wearer. Finding the individual touch and expressing one’s own personality in a dazzling way with customised clothing – RETTL has made a name for itself far beyond the borders.
