Rümeysa Memis graduated from Beykent University as the highest ranking student of the Industrial Design Department in 2016. Throughout her school years, she worked as an intern at ceramics, culture and design firms. During her third year, she became an exchange student at Sungkyunkwan University of South Korea and took textile and visual communication design courses. Upon her return, she became more interested in Turkish art and craft history and started her MA in Art History at Istanbul University. She also took MA class from Industrial Design Department of Istanbul Technical University. Memis continues to work on craft in product design since 2017 and shares her ideas through Rehrev Design Studio. She currently continues her design research at Royal College of Art, London.
