About
Tommaso Corvi-Mora (b. 1969) is artist and gallerist. He opened his gallery in London in 1995; his current business, “Corvi-Mora” (est. 2000), is in Kennington, South London. In 2013 “Corvi-Mora” was one of the first galleries to incorporate the work of notable ceramic artists within a contemporary art programme. After enrolling in an evening ceramics course at Morley College in 2009, Tommaso Corvi-Mora quickly discovered his love for the medium and has been making work ever since. His works have been exhibited internationally, including Salon 94 (New York), ICA Milano, Tristan Hoare (London), Pippy Houldsworth Gallery (London) and various presentations curated by Duro Olowu in London, including “Making and Unmaking” at Camden Arts Centre. His solo exhibition titled “Diario” is currently on view until the end of February at four different venues in Savona and Albisola (Italy), amongst them the Savona Ceramic Museum and Casa Jorn in Albisola. He was an Award Winner at the 3rd Edition of the Open to Art Ceramic Award, Fondazione Saffi,
Milano (2019) and his work was selected for the 61st Faenza International Prize for Ceramics, MIC Faenza (2020).
