About
Based at Oxo Tower Wharf, and originally bought into use in 1931 as a Dictionary of Colour and created by the British Council, this colour standard was intended to make colour specification simple and easy to match throughout the British Isles, the Empire and later the Commonwealth. Out of use for decades, Jackie & Victoria have trademarked and recreated this as the refreshed BRITISH COLOUR STANDARD brand, its foundations built upon the original colour resource material with its great provenance and authenticity, to rebuild it as the go to brand for colour today.
