Carola’s craft medium is thread, using this to explore her fascination with colours, textures, layers and light. Her work explores replicating nature with thread and creating wall hangings with tiny floating individual stitches. She aims to achieve a delicate result by pushing the boundaries of embroidery, bringing a more refined and unexpected outcome.
